Here we offer you three different Accommodation options:
Option 1.
All incoming exchange students are assigned suitable accommodation – a flat to share with local student(s), taking into consideration their preferences. Information on accommodation is sent to the student before arrival. Please ensure that you fill in the Housing Application Form. Unfortunately, it is not possible to arrange any accommodation unless we receive the housing application form in advance.
Option 2.
If students do not wish to stay in a shared flat and prefer other private dormitories or youth hostels, we cannot guarantee a place for them. However, we will do our best to help them find accommodation. It's important to note that finding a vacancy in these places for only one semester is challenging due to constant high demand.
Option 3.
Exchange students can also choose to rent their own place. However, given the rental rates and real estate brokerage commissions, this might not be the most suitable option for exchange students. Nonetheless, if this is your preferred choice, we will connect you with the appropriate real estate offices.
Buddy System:
Each incoming exchange student is paired with a local student who will be their buddy, responsible for assisting with travel arrangements and providing information about the university, the city, and the country. If incoming students inform their buddy about their exact arrival date and time, arrangements can be made to meet them at the train or bus stations in Eskişehir. Buddies also help incoming students with the enrollment and residence permit procedures.
