Application procedure for Exchange Students for studies

  1. Nomination 

Students must be nominated by their home university, and the nomination should be sent to uib@eskisehir.edu.tr. The nomination letter must include the student's full name, birth date, valid email address, receiving faculty, and department at Eskişehir Technical University (ESTU), along with the subject area and the intended period of stay (winter semester, summer semester, or the entire academic year)

Nomination Deadline:

for Winter semester: until August 15th

for Spring semester: until January 15th

 

Application Deadline:
for Winter semester: until September 1st

for Spring semester: until January 31st

  1. Erasmusport Online Registration System

After being nominated, an email containing a link and password for our Erasmusport Online Application System (https://erasmusport.eskisehir.edu.tr/) will be sent to the student's email address.

Please complete the Erasmus Students Online Application Form on your computer, sign the form, and send a soft copy via email. This online application form also incorporates the Housing Application Form. To facilitate accommodation assistance, it is essential to complete the Housing Application Form. Failure to do so may hinder our ability to support you in this regard.

Files to be uploaded as obligatory attachments:

  • Signed and scanned Application Form (PDF file only).
  • Transcript of Records (PDF file only).
  • English certificate (PDF file only)*.
  • Passport

 

After arrival, students must submit a valid health insurance document (which can be issued in your home country or acquired in Eskisehir). Ensure that your insurance is valid in Türkiye for accidents and health problems.

Language Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree students: B1 level or higher (or min. 5.0 IELTS or min. 60 TOEFL recommended).

Master’s Degree students: B2 level or higher (or min. 5.5 IELTS or min. 80 TOEFL recommended).

Certificates from the home university’s School of Foreign Languages or public/private university units/Centre for Foreign Languages are accepted.

 

  1. Online Learning Agreement

ESTU uses the Online Learning Agreement (OLA) system. We will be able to view and approve your OLA on our system once you prepare it at your home university’s system and present it to us for confirmation. After the OLA is approved by all parties, students should obtain the PDF version from their institutions and send it to us by e-mail.

Some courses may not be available or may be added to the list later. Your departmental coordinator will guide you through the most current list of subjects. Additionally, even if the medium of instruction for some courses is Turkish, individual studies can be conducted in English for our incoming students in those courses. These studies can take the form of projects, homework, or one-to-one sessions with professors and other incoming students.
