ESTU Handball and Volleyball Teams Advance Towards the Super League

Eskişehir Technical University (ESTU) teams achieved remarkable success in the 2024-2025 UNILIG Regional League games held from December 9-13 at ESTU and Eskişehir Osmangazi University sports halls. ESTU Men's Handball Team, along with the Men's and Women's Volleyball Teams, topped their groups and secured spots in the Super League qualification rounds.

Handball Excitement at ESTU
The thrilling UNILIG Men’s Handball Regional League matches took place at the ESTU Sports Hall, featuring teams from Eskişehir Technical University, Eskişehir Osmangazi University, Erciyes University, Kocaeli University, and Yalova University. ESTU Men's Handball Team emerged as group leaders, bringing pride to the university under the leadership of coaches Dr. Nalan Aksakal and Lecturer Ahmet Şener.

Trophies were awarded by ESTU Rector Prof. Dr. Adnan Özcan and other university officials. Erciyes University placed second, and Yalova University came third.

Dominant Performance by ESTU Volleyball Teams
At the Eskişehir Osmangazi University Sports Hall, ESTU Women’s and Men’s Volleyball Teams delivered outstanding performances, winning all their matches and finishing first. In the Women’s League, Anadolu University placed second, followed by Eskişehir Osmangazi University in third. In the Men’s League, ESTU secured first place, with Eskişehir Osmangazi University and Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University taking second and third places, respectively.

The top-ranking teams will compete in the upcoming Super League qualification rounds, as announced by the University Sports Federation.
