Incoming students must apply for a residence permit within one month of their arrival in Türkiye.
Applying for Residence Permit will cost you around 1000 Turkish Lira (Approximately 30 Euros)
During the application and document collection process, your buddy students will guide you as they are well-informed about the entire procedure.
To help you better understand the process, here is a brief summary of the steps you need to follow after your arrival:
1️⃣ Obtain your YKN (Turkish Identification Number):
You will first be directed to the Student Affairs Office, where you will receive your YKN number.
2️⃣ Complete your registration:
After obtaining your YKN, please proceed with your university registration.
3️⃣ Prepare your residence permit documents:
Once your registration is completed, you will need to collect all the required documents for your short-term residence permit application.

4️⃣ Submit your documents:
Please make sure to submit all documents to the International Affairs Office without any missing items. Once you submit them, the university will initiate your residence permit process with the relevant authorities.
If any documents are missing or additional information is needed, you will be informed by our office.
