1. Arrival & Registration
When you arrive in Eskişehir, please visit the International Affairs Office to begin your registration process.
Before your visit:
- Inform us about the day and time of your arrival.
- Ask your buddy student to accompany you and guide you around campus.
During your first visit, you will:
- Receive a welcome package,
- Get detailed information about your registration procedure and your arrival form,
- Be directed to your faculty for the next steps.
Registration at Your Faculty
After visiting the International Affairs Office:
1️⃣ Meet your Departmental Erasmus+ Coordinator. Please make an appointment with your coordinator and feel free to ask your buddy to join you.
2️⃣ Proceed to the Student Affairs Office to complete your registration.
Documents required for faculty registration:
- Copy of your Transcript (from your home university)
- Copy of the first pages of your passport
- 3 biometric photos
- Copy of your Acceptance Letter
- Printout of your Online Learning Agreement (OLA)

2. Documents You Will Receive After Registration
- Username and Password:
Used to access the online student system (OBS). You can view your course schedule and your coordinator can assist you in choosing courses. - Temporary Student Certificate:
Required for the residence permit application at the Immigration Office. - Student Identity Card:
Official student card of Eskişehir Technical University, issued approximately 2–4 weeks after registration.
You can use the temporary certificate until you receive the actual card.
📘 Learning Agreement & Courses
1. Change of Learning Agreement
Sometimes, courses in your initial Learning Agreement may not be available.
If that happens:
1️⃣ Discuss alternative courses with your ESTU Departmental Coordinator.
2️⃣ Contact your home university to make the necessary changes on the OLA system.
3️⃣ After your home university approves, inform your ESTU Coordinator to confirm the changes.
4️⃣ Finally, inform the International Affairs Office once the process is complete.
⚠️ If the changes are not approved on the OLA system, we won’t be able to issue your final documents (e.g., Transcript of Records).
2. Residence Permit
All incoming students must apply for a residence permit within one month of arrival in Türkiye.
Steps to follow:

📨 Documents Provided by Eskişehir Technical University
The International Affairs Office of Eskişehir Technical University (ESTU) provides the following official documents after the completion of your exchange period:
- Certificate of Attendance
This document confirms your study period at ESTU.
🕐 It will be sent directly by e-mail to your home university after your departure.
Transcript of Records
This document includes all the courses you have taken and your grades at ESTU.
🕐 Please note: The issuance of the transcript may take up to 4 weeks after the end of the semester.Therefore, it will generally be sent 4–6 weeks after the semester ends, directly to your home university by e-mail.
